Sheppardův tým je na průzkumu planety a jedna z wraithských šipek zasáhne McKaye a Cadmanovou. Při zhmotnění Cadmanové a McKaye dojde k problému - musí totiž zhmotnit jen jednoho. Zhmotní McKaye, který ihned po zhmotnění omdlí. Probudí se na ošetřovně a začne Beckettovi tvrdit, že slyší hlasy Cadmanové. McKay má domluvené rande s jednou milou ženou, a protože není moc velký romantik, Cadmanová mu pomáhá. Když jde McKay spát, převezme kontrolu nad tělem Cadmanová. Tohle věčné přetahování o vůdčí duši v těle vyvrcholí v to, že mohou oba zemřít. Když už se zdá, že se situace nemůže zlepšit, McKayovi svitne dokonalý nápad, který by celou situaci mohl vyřešit.(Varan)
