Jake není pilotem, a tak se po navázání spojení s řídicí věží pokouší prostřednictvím instrukcí od J. L. McCabea, nejen vynikajícího státního návladního a svého šéfa, ale též někdejšího pilota a leteckého instruktora, bezpečně doletět a přistát. Problémem je ovšem velká ztráta krve a riziko upadnutí do bezvědomí... Jak Jake Styles, tak i tlusťoch McCabe vzpomínají na společné zážitky. (cheyene)
