Agent NCIS Pacci je brutálne zavraždený. Gibbs a jeho tím začnú vyšetrovať prípad, na ktorom ich mŕtvy kolega naposledy pracoval. Zavraždený agent mal vo svojom tele schovaný čip s fotkami, ktoré odhaľovali nové stopy. Jedná sa o starý nevyriešený prípad krádeže niekoľkých miliónov dolárov. Do prípadu bol zapletený námorník, ktorý údajne umrel pri autonehode. Peniaze sa nikdy nenašli.
