Torrese vyhledá jeho starý kamarád Dale Sawyer, který je také agentem NCIS. Muž je od krve a Torres ihned pozná, že s ním není něco v pořádku. Dozví se od něj, že stále pracuje v utajení na společné operaci s FBI a že se bojí prozrazení své tajné identity. Následně se Sawyer, aniž by cokoliv víc vysvětlil, ztratí. Torres spolu s týmem začnou sami po Sawyerovi pátrat. Když se objeví tělo neznámého upáleného muže, je všem jasné, že Sawyerovi jde o život. Torres tedy sám zamíří mezi řidiče kamionů, kde Sawyer naposledy pátral. Torres svého kamaráda sice najde, ale brzy jim oběma jde o život... (TV Nova)
